Suffolk police are investigating a burglary that happened May 17 on Sunburst Drive in Rocky Point.
According to a police report, the burglary happened at approximately 3 a.m. while the homeowner was home; however, there was no confrontation between the victim and the thief.
A police spokesperson could not say how police believe the thief entered the home, but said the thief stole money and a cellphone.
