Crime Report: Cocaine Arrests Made at Rocky Point Parade
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
• Police arrested two men at the St. Patrick's Day parade in Rocky Point and charged them both with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Police said Karl Mevs, 26, and Jason Duryea, 36, both from Rocky Point, had cocaine on them when they were arrested at 5:15 p.m. on March 17.
• Christopher Fichera, 25, of Middle Island, was arrested March 17 in Rocky Point and charged with DWI and aggravated DWI, both misdemeanors. Police said he was in a vehicle backing up in an unsafe manner when they pulled him over on Eagle Road at 8:30 p.m.
• Stephen Manzo, 46, of Miller Place, was arrested March 17 in Miller Place and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police pulled him over after seeing him allegedly swerve into another lane while traveling west on Route 25A in Miller place at 8:25 p.m.

• Cara Cipriano Pisano, 38, of Coram, was arreseted March 17 in Miller Place and charged with DWI and aggravated DWI, both misdemeanors. Police pulled her over after she allegedly failed to stay in her lane while traveling south on Coram-Mt. Sinai Road at 7:36 p.m.
• Alex Puma, 36, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested March 17 in Miller Place and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police pulled him over after he allegedly failed to stay in his lane while traveling on Echo Avenue at 7:13 p.m.

• James Leach, 41, of Sound Beach, was arrested March 17 in Rocky Point and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police pulled him over after he allegedly swerved into the shoulder while traveling east on Route 25A in Rocky Point at 7 p.m.
• Steven Korth, 23, of Rocky Point, was arrested March 19 in Rocky Point and charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. Police arrested him at his home in connection with a Jan. 9 incident in which he allegedly stole a vacuum cleaner from a business located at 346 Route 25A in Rocky Point.
• Eric Cascone, 42, of Sound Beach, was arrested March 19 in Coram and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police pulled him over after he allegedly failed to stay in his lane while traveling north on Coram-Mt. Sinai Road at 4:40 p.m.
