Crime Report: Four Arrested on Drug Charges

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Joseph Bush, 62, of Shoreham, was arrested Feb. 17 in his Shoreham home and charged with third degree criminal possession of a weapon. Bush allegedly had five unlicensed firearms.

Four were arrested Feb. 15 in Coram and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Julie Terveen, 21, and Frank Potter, 24, of Sound Beach, and John Kaastra, 29, and Nicholas Roosa, 26, of Rocky Point, were arrested in a 2002 Mercury Sable. Potter was also charged with fourth degree criminal weapons possession for allegedly having a gravity knife.

A 16-year-old, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested Feb. 14 and charged with assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon. He allegedly punched someone in the mouth with a bottle, knocking out two teeth.

Thomas Derosa, 44, of Miller Place, was arrested Feb. 13 and charged with false personation and revocation of a presumptive release. Derosa allegedly had an oustanding New York State Police warrant and gave a false name and birthdate to the police.
