Crime Report: Hand Truck Stolen from Ace Hardware
Two men arrested for stealing a hand truck from Ace Hardware in Rocky Point.
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these incidental arrests in Miller Place, Sound Beach, and Rocky Point during Sept. 25-Oct. 2:
Louis Mitacek, 30, of Rocky Point was arrested Oct. 2 in Rocky Point and charged with DWI. Reports indicate Mitacek was arrested for the alleged operation of a 2008 Hyundai while intoxicated on Route 25A at approximately 3:08 a.m.

Jonathan Kelly, 21, of Rocky Point was arrested Sept. 29 in Rocky Point and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Reports indicate Kelly was arrested for the alleged possession of marijuana on his person. Reports indicate an officer found the marijuana while arresting Kelly for an unrelated warrant.
Thomas James, 24, of Sound Beach was arrested Sept. 28 in Sound Beach and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Reports indicate James was arrested for the alleged possession of marijuana on Sound Beach Blvd.

Isaac Seymore, 40, of Mastic Beach was arrested Sept. 27 in Rocky Point and charged with criminal obstruction. Reports indicate Seymore was arrested for allegedly choking and obstructing the breathing of a woman.
James Paul Blankeney, 41, of Rocky Point was arrested Sept. 27 in Rocky Point and charged with second degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Reports indicate Blankeney was arrested for the alleged operation of a 2005 BMW without a driver’s license on Route 25A, Rocky Point at approximately 11:15 p.m.
Donald Schweizer, 53, of Rocky Point was arrested Sept. 27 in Rocky Point and charged with petty larceny. Reports indicate Schweizer allegedly stole a hand truck from Ace Hardware.
John Donnelly, 47, of Rocky Point was arrested Sept. 27 in Rocky Point and charged with fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property, and resisting arrest. Reports indicate Donnelly was arrested for the alleged possession of a stolen hand truck from Ace Hardware. He was accompanied by Schweizer, above.
