Crime Report: Harassment in Miller Place

Three arrests during the week.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department.  It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these incidental arrests in Miller Place and Rocky Point during Sept. 11-20:  

Jason Ruppenstein, 32, of Miller Place was arrested Sept. 17 in Miller Place and charged with second degree harassment and criminal mischief. No other details can be provided.

Sylvia Hurst, 61, of Bay Shore was arrested Sept. 16 in Rocky Point and charged with second degree criminal contempt. Reports indicate Hurst allegedly violated an order of protection.    

Ryan McNeill, 28, of Rocky Point was arrested Sept. 15 in Rocky Point and charged with second degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Reports indicate McNeill was arrested for the alleged operation of a 1994 Ford Explorer without a license on Hawthorne Ave., at approximately 3:50 p.m.
