Crime Report: Keys Stolen from Miller Place High School

Minor steals keys from high school, pair arrested for stealing from Port Jefferson Station Pathmark.

Nicholas Roosa, 25, of Rocky Point, was arrested Jan. 28 and charged with petty larceny. Roosa allegedly stole food from the at 5145 Nesconset Highway in Port Jefferson Station.

Frank Kandler, 32, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested Jan. 28 and charged with petty larceny. He allegedly stole a shopping cart full of groceries from the in Port Jefferson Station.

Sheryl Stellwagen-Svensson, 57, of Rocky Point, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with operating a first-degree operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Stellwagen-Svensson was driving her 2005 Jeep on Lavender Road in Rocky Point when she was arrested.

Darrin Reilly, 18, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with criminal trespassing, second degree.  Reilly, acting along with others, was in a residence without the owner’s permission.

A 17-year-old, of Miller Place, was arrested Jan. 30 and charged with fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property. He allegedly stole four school-issued keys from .

Jose Figueroa, 55, of Rocky Point, was arrested Feb. 1 and charged with assault: recklessly cause physical injury. Figueroa allegedly threw an ashtray at a female’s head, which caused a laceration that required medical treatment.

Thomas Bosco, 53, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested Feb. 2 and charged with second-degree identity theft. Bosco allegedly attempted to use a female’s Home Depot Credit Card without permission.

Michael Gilroy, 23, of Shoreham, was arrested Feb. 2 in Shirley and charged with second-degree burglary. Gilroy allegedly entered a woman's residence through the front door and stole cash and jewelry.
