Crime Report: Men Allegedly Strike Person With Tree Branch
Two young men were arrested and charged with assault for allegedly striking another person with a tree branch in Rocky Point.
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these incidental arrests in Miller Place, Mt. Sinai, Sound Beach, and Rocky Point from Sept. 6-10:
Charles Riley, 62, of Miller Place was arrested Sept. 10 in Miller Place and charged with DWI first offense. Reports indicate Riley was arrested for the alleged operation of a 2001 Nissan while intoxicated. Reports indicate Riley was traveling on Maple Ave., at approximately 1:30 p.m. when he was stopped by police.

Raymond Scerbo, 27, of Mt. Sinai was arrested Sept. 9 in Mt. Sinai and charged with two counts of third degree narcotics. No other details could be provided.
Thomas Gregorius, 18, of Rocky Point was arrested Sept. 9 in Rocky Point and charged with assault. Reports indicate Gregorius took a tree branch and struck an unknown person with it. Reports indicate the incident occurred at Rosewood Rd., Rocky Point at approximately 8:10 a.m.

William Erdogan, 21, of Rocky Point was arrested Sept. 9 in Rocky Point and charged with assault. Reports indicate Erdogan, accompanied by Gregorius, above, allegedly struck someone with a tree branch. The incident occurred at approximately 8;10 a.m. on Rosewood Rd., Rocky Point.
Anthony Peterson, 19, of Rocky Point was arrested Sept. 7 in Rocky Point and charged with leaving the scene of a crash. Reports indicate Peterson was arrested after he allegedly struck a female and left the scene without stopping. Reports indicate he was operating a 1993 Plymouth Sundance at approximately 10:15 p.m.
Patrick Agostinelli, 53, of Shirley was arrested Sept. 7 in Sound Beach and charged with first degree criminal contempt. No other details can be provided.
