Taylor West, 23, of Miller Place, was arrested Aug. 9 in Miller Place and charged with first-offense DWI. West allegedly failed to maintain the lane and was pulled over on 83 at Mt Sinai Coram Road.
A 16-year-old, of Coram, was arrested Aug. 9 in Miller Place and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The teen was allegedly in possession of a pipe that had crack residue on it.
Melissa Kust, 31, of Rocky Point, was arrested Aug. 9 in Rocky Point and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police allegedly found crack cocaine during a probation search of her home.
Christopher Gorwitz, 37, of Miller Place, was arrested Aug. 6 in Selden and charged with DWAI combined drugs and alcohol. Gorwitz was stopped at the intersection of Routes 83 and 25.
Robert Disalvo, 41, of Sound Beach, was arrested Aug. 6 in Riverhead and charged with scheme to defraud in the first degree with one or more persons and property in excess of $1,000. Disalvo allegedly hired people to do work and then failed to pay them the agreed amount in March.
