Crimes Nearby: Car Stolen from The Curry Club

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Three Village

• A 2002 Suzuki XL7 sport utility vehicle was reported stolen from the parking lot at The Curry Club in Setauket. According to a police report, the owner of the vehicle left it in the parking lot between 10:30 p.m. on June 20 and 3 p.m. on June 21. Police are still investigating the report.

• A customer who left her credit card at the Shell gas station on Route 25A in Setauket reported June 26 that someone had used it. Police did not disclose the dollar amount charged on the credit card. The card was left at the gas station at approximately midnight on June 17.

• A resident of Dairy Farm Road in Stony Brook reported June 26 that someone entered the house by taking an air conditioner out of a window and then coming in through that window. However, police said nothing was taken. The incident happened between 11:30 a.m. and 1:10 p.m.

• Hugo Mendoza, 18, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested June 23 in Terryville and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police pulled him over after he allegedly failed to stay in his lane and blew a stop sign at Bedford Lane and Magnolia Drive.

• Thomas Lehrer, 20, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested June 25 in Ridge and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. Police pulled him over after he allegedly failed to stay in his lane while driving on William Floyd Parkway at around 2 a.m.
