Crimes Nearby: Woman Charged With Disorderly Conduct in Mattituck for Urinating

Police reported the following arrests between Nov. 19 - 28.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County, Southold Town and Riverhead Police Departments. It does not indicate a conviction.

Port Jefferson

Salvatore Mazzuchelli, 33, from Port Jefferson Station, was arrested on Nov. 23 and charged with third degree burglary with illegal entry and fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property with a value less than $1,000. He reportedly took a mountain bike and a press machine from Roma Granite Warehouse in Ronkonkoma.

Adriana Salamon, 23, from Port Jefferson Station, was arrested on Nov. 23 and charged with petty larceny, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and leaving the scene of an accident without showing identification. Salamon was allegedly involved in a motor vehicle crash that resulted in physical injury and fled the scene. Police later found her driving a 2000 Honda in possession of illegal drugs. She was also charged for taking four tires and rims together with another individual on Nov 17 in Ronkonkoma.

Police continue to search for a man who attempted armed robbery at the Hess gas station on Nesconset Highway on Nov. 19 at 12:20 a.m. According to a police report, a man with a gun demanded money, but did not get any, and fled the scene on foot.

North Fork

Zachary Pileski, 21, of Mattituck, was charged with third-degree assault on Nov. 24 at 4:23 a.m., after police responded to a report of an unconscious 29-year-old man lying in the parking lot near the train station on Pike Street in Mattituck, police said. Police determined he was the victim of an assault and the man was taken by members of the Mattituck Fire Department to Eastern Long Island Hospital for medical attention, police said. Investigation revealed that Pileski had tried to stop a fight between the man and another subject and struck the aggressor in the face, causing him to lose consciousness and fall face first into the pavement, police said. Pileski was later arrested, processed and released on an appearance ticket to return to court at a later date.

Victor Dubon-Garcia, 24, of Greenport, and Efrain Garcia, 26, of Greenport, were each charged with DWI and felony aggravated unlicensed operation after being involved in a car accident on Nov. 25 at 12:01 a.m. at the corner of Main Bayview Road and Route 25 in Southold, police said. Dubon-Garcia was driving a 1995 Honda north on Main Bayview and slowing down to a stop at the intersection when Garcia rear-ended Dubon-Garcia's vehicle with a 1997 Honda, police said. Both men were found to be intoxicated and driving without licenses, and Garcia's driving privilege had been suspended for a previous DWI charge, police said.

A 38-year-old homeless woman who urinated in front of a police officer in Mattituck was charged with disorderly conduct on Monday at 7:32 p.m, Southold Town Police reported. Police responded to a report made on Monday evening of a person lying on a sidewalk of the Mattituck Shopping plaza, police said. Police identified the person as Maryann Walsh, and while interviewing her, Walsh pulled her pants down and urinated, police said. She was arrested and processed at police headquarters and held overnight for arraignment.

Riverhead

A 34-year-old Westhampton man faces a felony DWI charge after allegedly driving on drugs into the Riverside McDonald’s with his 3-year-old son on Nov. 23, police said.

Officers said they pulled over David Amorose at around 7 p.m. after receiving a call about a man falling asleep while driving into the fast food restaurant on Flanders Road. Police discovered that Amorose, who had his three-year-old son in the car, appeared to be under the influence of Xanax, according to a police report of the incident.

He was charged with aggravated DWI with a child, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child and driving while ability impaired by drugs, both misdemeanors.
