McGruff Talks Safety With Campers

McGruff the Crime Dog visited with North Shore Youth Council campers this Summer.

Suffolk County Sheriff Vincent F. DeMarco and McGruff the Crime Dog spoke to campers at the North Shore Youth Council Summer Camp July 7 and 8. 

During the visit, the law enforcement workers spoke about recognizing and combating bullying behavior, and how to remain safe around strangers. 

Officers John Roche and Everett Oliver visited along with Sheriff DeMarco and McGruff, who all work in the Community Relations Unit for the Suffolk County Sheriff's Department.
