Police: Man Robs Rocky Point Bank

A man robbed a Rocky Point bank Wednesday morning, police said. 

Police said the man entered the Capital One bank, located at 366 Route 25A, and approached a teller at 9:35 a.m. and demanded cash.

The teller complied with the demand and gave the robber cash from the drawer, police said. The man then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The robber is described as white, approximately 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11, between 25 and 30 years old with a thin build. He was wearing blue jeans and a flannel shirt over a gray hooded-sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about the robber is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
