Police Seeking Church Donation Box Thief

Reward offered for info that leads to an arrest.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the individual who broke into donation boxes at a Selden church last week. 

According to police, someone broke open two wooden donation boxes and stole money at St. Margaret’s Church, located at 81 College Road, on May 21 between noon and 9 p.m. Approximately $150 was stolen from the boxes, police said. 

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

Rumor has it the money was sucked out of box with some type of VACUUM! OH MY GOD! These guys should be easy to find. ;-)
