Prescribed Fire on Rocky Point DEC Property Wednesday Afternoon

The New York Wildfire and Incident Management Academy is conducting a prescribed fire on the NYS-DEC's Rocky Point property from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.

The Suffolk County Office of Emergency Management sent out a notice Wednesday warning that residents near the natural resources management area in Rocky Point may experience light smoke conditions in the area during this time.
