Rocky Point Man Arrested for Home Burglary

According to police, electronics and checks were stolen from a home in Rocky Point.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

-Police said a Rocky Point man broke into a home on Merritts Path in Rocky Point, stealing checks and electronics.

Jame Deleonardis, 25, was charged with felony second-degree burglary on Sept. 21. According to police, Deleonardis forcibly entered the house and stole a camera, laptop and checks.  Additionally, police charged Deleonardis with petty larceny for taking a welder from a home on Hallock Ave. in Rocky Point.

-A 30-year-old woman from Ridge has been charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, for stealing clothing and jewelry from Kohl's in Rocky Point on Sept. 13.
