Two-Car Crash at Miller Place Road Intersection Leaves One Injured

A minor injury resulted from an accident at the dangerous intersection on Route 25A in Miller Place.

A two-car collision Thursday afternoon at the accident-heavy intersection of Miller Place Road and Route 25A left one with minor injuries.

The Miller Place Fire Department responded to the incident, and according to MPFD EMS Lieutenant Kyle Reitan, the driver of a 1999 Buick was taken by ambulance to an area hospital and treated for minor injuries.

"Once again, there's another accident at our town's major intersection," Reitan said. " People need to take it easy. Especially during this time of year, roadways are busy and drivers need to pay more attention to the road."
