Two Injured in Miller Place Crash Monday

One car flips in two-car crashing injuring two Monday evening.

A two-car crash on Route 25A in Miller Place Monday evening sent two to the hospital, according to Police.

A 2004 Toyota 4Runner was traveling westbound on Route 25A when a 2004 Saturn Ion crashed into the Toyota while trying to make a left turn out of a parking lot at 4 p.m. Monday, police said.

The Toyota rolled over and landed on its roof, and the driver was removed by Miller Place Fire Department firefighters. Both drivers were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital by MPFD ambulance.

The driver of the Toyota seriously injured her left hand while the other driver suffered minor head injuries. The accident closed both lanes on Route 25A at the scene for a few hours. Both cars were impounded for safety checks.
