An online campaign has been started on gofundme.com to help send Rocky Point High School senior Connor Voss to Washington.
Voss has been selected for the LeadAmerica Presidential Inaugural Leadership Summit in Washington D.C. on Jan. 18-22. During this 5-day conference, he and other Presidential Scholars will hear from a variety of expert guest speakers and can select from nine workshops focusing on National Security, International Relations and Science & Technology.
Former Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Colin Powell will address the role of leadership, focusing on how the students can build their future.
