Tell Us: Potholes in Miller Place-Rocky Point

Snow may be gone from the streets, but potholes are opening up in its place.

While much of the extreme winter weather is in the rear view mirror, it has left its lasting mark on the area in the form of potholes.

Snow piles are still visible two weeks after the blizzard of 2013 slammed the region. Freezing and unfreezing of asphalt creates stress. Roads also took a beating, snow plows scrapping and pounding the pavement as they cleared roadways.

The net result: The roads around Miller Place-Rocky Point need fixing.

Patch is on a quest to uncover the roadways and intersections with the worst potholes. So sound off in the comments section and sound the alarm.

This is what the patch has to worry about? How about all the crack heads in Rocky Point. Lawn mower repair shop on Broadway dealing drugs out of the place, run down eye sore gas stations. How about the Rocky Point drive in sign still erected. A serious quality of life issue going on in RP. The pot holes will be fixed. How about the all of the above be spoken about.

Sad, but a true statement..America is becoming more concerned about things like who wore what on Oscar night than North Korea threats to the U.S. We have become a sorry group, tied to believing everything the media influences us to believe in.
