(Now I'm aware that these aren't real problems and that people are going through much more than these minor inconviences. I'm just using these to prove a point.)
TRICKS & TIPS for keeping it all in perspective:
1.) Tomorrow is always a brand new day.
2.) Instead of focusing on everything that’s going wrong, focus on what’s right.
3.) Sometimes, we need to just take a break and relax… even if it’s only for 10 minutes. Read a book, drink tea, go for a walk…etc.
4.) The mind is an incredible tool and it can work for us or against us depending on how we use it. If you continually tell yourself “this day is horrible, nothing is going right” than nothing will go right. You are putting that negative energy out into the universe. Change your attitude and the rest will follow.
5.) Remember to breathe. We often go through our days taking short and shallow breaths. When our minds start to race with everything we need to accomplish, it's easy to get caught up and overwhelmed. This is when we need to take deep calming breaths. Taking deep breaths helps us to think clearer and keep everything in perspective. :)
