Shoreham Student Selected for National Choir Ensemble

Phillip Losquadro will perform at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville.

Shoreham resident and St. Anthony's High School student Phillip Losquadro will head to Nashville, Tenn., in October to perform under some of the nation's most prominent conductors as part of the National Association for Music Education All-National honors ensembles.

Losquadro is among 350 school-age singers from around the country who will sing together after performing in competitions at the state level.

“Phillip is very eclectic in his vocal abilities.” St. Anthony's Choral Director, Brother Joshua, credits Phillip's outstanding Tenor quality with being “a cornerstone of the Boys Section in our recent Concert Tour of Italy as well as being a significant component in singing the challenging recitative in the Chants of the Passion during our Good Friday Liturgy.”

The performance is set for Oct. 30 at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville.
