Miller Place, Mt. Sinai, Rocky Point and Shoreham-Wading River school districts have announced a two-hour delayed start for Thursday morning.
Rocky Point announced the delayed opening and that students on Bus H only will need to use inclement weather stops.
In Miller Place, there will also be no A.M. Kindergarten. Shoreham-Wading River has also cancelled their before school child care program for the morning. Mt. Sinai also announced that due to the storm, the school phone system is working but is not receiving any voicemail.
