North Country Road Middle School seventh grade students recently attended a session about Internet safety from Suffolk County Police Officer George Lynaugh.
Officer Lynaugh provided students with a plan on how to stay safe while surfing the web, how to handle cyber bullying and the legal repercussions of cyber bullying. He also stressed that each student must think about everything they post online because it becomes a permanent record.
