UPDATE: Shoreham-Wading River Schools are also closed Tuesday, joing Miller Place, Rocky Point and Mt. Sinai in the area.
The Miller Place and Rocky Point School District's have announced that due to the current road conditions many streets are still impassable and school will be closed Tuesday.
In Miller Place, there will be no transportation for private and parochial schools, BOCES and out of district placements. All school activities, athletics, clubs, drama, robotics, evening events and use of facilities by outside organizations are cancelled.
The lockdown drill scheduled for Wednesday in Miller Place has been cancelled and will be rescheduled.
