Miller Place Students Donate Hair for a Good Cause

Sound Beach School students donate hair for cancer patients.

Three young girls from Laddie A. Decker Sound Beach School gave up more than eight inches of their hair in order to help make wigs for children who have lost hair during cancer treatment procedures.

Bella Buonovolonta, her cousin Autumn Stahlmann and Sophia Gonell all donated their locks to Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths. Each of the girls got matching pink feather hair extensions and received certificates for their good will when they returned to school.

Pantene and the American Cancer Society partnered to create Beautiful Lengths, and these three girls were happy to give up just a little length in order to help make another person's day.
