Miller Place Valedictorian Earns Italian-American Scholarship

Steven Cincotta awarded $1,500 scholarship award from the New York Conference of Italian-American State Legislators.

Miller Place Valedictorian Steven Cincotta earned a $1,500 scholarship award from the New York Conference of Italian-American State Legislators.

Cincotta was awarded the scholarship at the Conference's recent award breakfast, which was attended by Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Assemblyman Dan Losquadro (R, Shoreham).

“I was proud to recommend Steven for the academic scholarship," Losquadro said in a release. "His strong academic achievements, coupled with his community involvement, and overall commitment to excellence made him one of the most qualified candidates.”

The Conference awards four $1,500 scholarships (two academic and two athletic) to eligible high school students or current undergrad or graduate student applicants from around the state students.
