Online Voting to Support Miller Avenue School Begins

Miller Avenue PTO has applied for two $50,000 grants, first of which needs online votes for support.

In an effort to raise funds for a new playground at the Miller Avenue School in the Shoreham-Wading River School District, the Miller Avenue PTO has applied for two $50,000 grants that take online votes to win.

The first grant, with Clorox, begins Monday and runs through Dec. 9, and every person (over 13 years old) can vote two times per day.

20 students from the school are preparing a video that will run online to promote the grant application once the voting begins.
