Laborers Local 78 set up an inflatable rat in front of Rocky Point High School on Rocky Point-Yaphank Road to protest the school Board's decision to hire a non-union company for asbestos abatement.
Union member Wieslaw Gandurski stood by the rat and had pamphlets available warning of the dangers of asbestos.
