The fifth-grade select chorus “High Notes” at Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate
School in the Rocky Point School District took to the school’s stage in late December to perform their annual winter musical, A Dickens of a Christmas.
During the play, which was arranged by Sally K. Albrecht and Jay Althouse,
the audience followed the life of Ebenezer Scrooge through both song and "a Dickensian-style" script. The students rehearsed for months with the help of their teacher Craig Knapp.
