Members of the Rocky Point Middle School Select Chorus recently visited the
local VFW Post 6249 for their annual holiday musical performance.
The students first sang three of their concert songs – Festival
Cantate, Non Nobis, Domine and Winter’s Waking – before inviting the veterans to join in a sing-a-long featuring several familiar holiday tunes.
From Silver Bells to Up on the Housetop, the approximately 70 students and 25 adults in attendance at the VFW hall celebrated the holiday season.
