Jordan McClintock, a 7th grader at Albert G. Prodell Middle School, was the grand-prize winner in Optimum and Olympusat. Inc.'s fifth annual Hispanic Heritage Month essay contest.
At the ceremony, attended by Assemblyman Dan Losquadro, Jordan read her award-winning essay and received a $2,500 scholarship from Cablevision representatives.
