In January, kindergarten and first-grade students at Briarcliff Elementary School participated in a roller-skating activity organized by the school’s physical education instructor Dierdre Gilroy.
The theme, “Go With the Flow- Wear Protective Gear,” encouraged children to use appropriate safety measures and equipment such as a helmet, elbow pads, kneepads and wrist guards. Parents were also invited to attend the skating session
