Miller Place School District recently opened a time capsule buried 40 years ago by the school’s first graduating class.
Current students, faculty and staff joined alumni and members of the community to commemorate Miller Place High School’s 40 anniversary by unveiling the 40-year-old time capsule that contained drawings, photography, compositions, newsletters and the program from the dedication ceremony of the school when it opened in 1972.
