Rocky Point Business Students Raise Hundreds for Breast Cancer Awareness

$688 raised for Breast Cancer Awareness and Patient Support at Stony Brook University.

$688 in donations for research and patient support at Stony Brook University Medical Center were raised by those in the Rocky Point High School Business and Marketing Honor Society and the Business Club.

Students took part in the Walk for Beauty fundraiser, which they do annually as a community service requirement. Joining them were members of the Skills USA Club also joined the business students in this endeavor.

The walk is sponsored by SBU and the Ward Melville Heritage Organization became an annual event in 1994 as a community effort to raise awareness about breast cancer and to foster support for patients.
