Rocky Point Cheer Team Wins Eight Straight Regional Title
Varsity cheerleaders set to defend national title.
For the eighth consecutive year, the Rocky Point varsity cheerleaders have secured the Empire Regional Championship title during the competition at Hofstra University.
The team will travel to Orlando in February , under the direction of cheerleading coach Anna Spallina,
“This competition was very difficult, as many of the teams in their division qualified and competed at Nationals last school year,” said Athletic Director Amy Agnesini.
