Rocky Point High School Principal to Retire After 14 Years

Bill Caulfield will retire in June after 33 years as a teacher and administrator.

After 14 years in the district, Rocky Point High School Principal Bill Caulfield is set to retire at the end of the school year in June, according to a report in the Village Beacon Record.

Caulfield, 57, grew up in Bethpage and attended C.W. Post. He is a former athletic director at Herricks High School in New Hyde Park and has been a teacher and administrator for 33 years.

The principal pointed to his staff and students for his fondest memories.

"I've been really blessed with outstanding staffs," he told the Record. "I'd like to think that they would do anything for me and I'd do anything for them."
