Rocky Point High School recently had 24 students named as AP Scholars as a result of their academic achievements on their Advanced Placement exams.
Each AP exam is graded on a scale of 1 to 5, with 3 or higher being a
passing grade. With an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and a score of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams, Sidarth Menon was granted one of the College Board’s highest honors by being named an AP Scholar with Distinction.
Another eight students were named AP Scholars with Honor, as they received an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams:
