Rocky Point Junior Earns Spot in All-County Festival

Rocky Point High School junior Casey Williamson has been selected to participate in this year’s NYSCAME/SCMEA All-County Music Festival.
Williamson, a talented soprano, will join peers from across Suffolk County in the festival’s Mixed Choir ensemble. She was selected for this honor based on her 2013 NYSSMA solo evaluation performance, for which she sang the Level 6 piece “Voi Che Sapete” by Mozart.
In addition to her vocal talents, Williamson is also an accomplished band musician, and can play the flute and the trumpet. This is the sixth time she has been invited to take part in the All-County Music Festival.
