Shoreham-Wading River Students to Take on The Challenge

Select Shoreham-Wading River High School students are set to face off against Greenport High School in MSG Varsity's quiz show, The Challenge.

The five students competing for the Wildcats are Christine Joseph, Chirag Raparia,  William Bland (Captain), Emilie Kulesa and Terence Ambro (Alternate). Their academic advisor is Ann Gianfalla. The contest is set to air on Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m

The Challenge pits 192 high schools in the tri-state area in a competition quiz match up with one school in each region being crowned regional champion with a $2500 prize for their school. The winning teams then go on to the championship where they square off in a tri-state showdown where the winning school is awarded $10,000. Each student participating in the final Challenge Championship game receives $500.
