Name: Corey Hayes
School: - Grade 12
Accomplishment: Hayes earned MPHS General Academic Excellence in grades 9-12, the AP Scholar with Honor Award and was awarded the 'Class of 2005 Scholarship' at the senior awards night along with the President's Award for Academic Excellence. He took Stony Brook University Calculus II in the fall of 2010 and has taken eight AP classes: World History, US History, Physics, Calculus, English Literature, Chemistry, Economics, Statistics.
Key to Awesomeness: Throughout his high school caeer, Hayes played varsity tennis all four years while also taking part in the Robotics team as a programmer, Mathletes, Mock Trial, National Honor Society and the Foreign Language Honor Society. Hayes has volunteered his time tutoring and with the MPAA Tennis Camp.
