Name: Michael O'Connor - Age 18

Accomplishments: Michael started playing the tenor saxophone in the 4th grade at the and has continued through the 12th grade, performing with the concert, symphonic concert and jazz bands.
While enrolled in honors and Advanced Placement classes, he has been on the honor roll or high honor roll for every quarter of his high school career and was inducted into the National Honor Society. The senior received the award for General Academic Excellence.
He is also a member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), which participates in charity events and competitions while helping to prepare students for careers in business and business-related fields.
During his four years in high school, Michael has been a hurdler for the JV and Varsity spring and winter track teams and the recipient of Senior Athlete Award for boys spring track.
Michael will be attending SUNY Geneseo in the fall, majoring in biology. He plans to pursue a career in research or medicine.
