Eagles Notebook: Boys Lax Loses Eighth Straight, Girls Get Fourth Win
Boys fall to 0-6 in League II play.
The Eagles boys lacrosse team lost, girls lacrosse won and baseball split a two-game series in a quiet spring break week.
Boys Lacrosse
The Eagles lost their eighth straight game, sixth straight in League II play after they fell 12-5 to Islip (4-1).

Ray Circo scored twice and Kevin Cain made nine saves while allowing 12 goals in the loss. The Eagles offense continued to struggle Wednedsay and they have scored more than five goals in a game just three times and scored double digits just once this season. Rocky Point hasn't held a team to under nine point in a game yet this year.

Girls Lacrosse
The girls improved to 4-3 in League II with an 11-8 win over Shoreham-Wading River (5-3).
Julie Nolan had 10 saves in net and Jessica Hassett found the back of the net six times in the win.

Baseball
The Eagles (6-2) split a two-game series with Shoreham-Wading River (5-3), winning the first game 5-4 before dropping Game 2, 9-5.
In Game 1, Joe DeFrank took the win with Johnny Popko driving in the game-winning run in the bottom of the fifth. Tyler Piccolo added two hits for the Eagles in the win.
On Wednesday, Brine Gill was saddled with the loss as SWR put up five runs in the sixth inning to come back from a 5-0 deficit.
