Miller Place Soccer Alum on International U-20 Team

Kevin LaBarbera, a 2011 alum, is heading to Italy to play soccer with the New York Stars, an international U-20 soccer team.

LaBarbera will represent the United States as a goal keeper for the Stars at the Viareggio Cup in Tuscany. The team's schedule consists of opponents such as Australia, Uruguay, Genoa and other Italian cities throughout the tournament.

In his time at Miller Place, LaBarbera was the starting goalie on the varsity team. In 2010, he helped the Panthers . During his first semester at college he was ranked fourth in the nation amongst goal keepers.
