Panthers to Host 45 Varsity Contests This Fall

Practices begin in August and games in September.

With some fall sports practices underway soon and games just a month away, it's time to get sports on the brain once again.

Miller Place-Rocky Point Patch will have coverage for all sports this fall, its first fall sports season in the area.

Here are the schedules for all Miller Place fall sports squads.

Football - Division III

The Panthers (4-4 in 2010) have four home and four away games in 2011, highlighted by an Oct. 1 mathchup against Rocky Point.

Boys Soccer - League V

The soccer team was the highlight of the fall last season, making it all the way to the Suffolk Class A finals, losing to Sayville 2-0. The Panthers meet the Golden Flashes once again in an early season contest on Sept. 23.
