LIRR says 20 minute delays due to a track condition.

The Long Island Railroad is reporting delays on the Port Jefferson line.

The LIRR said there are residual delays of up to 20 minutes in both directions on the Ronkonkoma, Port Jefferson, and Oyster Bay branches, due to an earlier track condition in New Hyde Park.

All westbound Ronkonkoma, Port Jefferson, and Oyster Bay branch trains continue to make stops at Mineola, Merillon Ave, New Hyde Park, and Jamaica stations.

Newsday is reporting that their was two cancellations; the 6:25 a.m. train from Hicksville to Penn, was canceled due to congestion, and the 7:28 a.m. train from Cold Spring Harbor to Penn.

Cold Spring Harbor riders are being asked to use the 7:19 a.m. train from Huntington to Atlantic Terminal and would have to transfer at Jamaica for a train traveling to Penn Station.
