Food Drive Added to Aug. 30 Concert in Rocky Point

During the Aug. 30 Summer Concert Series, a makeup of two concerts cancelled by rain, a food drive will be hosted in conjunction with the Harry Chapin Food Bank.
Legis. Sarah Anker's office announced Friday that the drive will be held during the concert in the St. Anthony of Padua parking lot at 8 p.m.
“If everyone who attends the concert...can donate a non-perishable food item or school supply we will all be working towards the
betterment of our community," Anker said in a release.

The concert will feature performances by Dr. K's Motown Revue and Desert Highway, an Eagles tribute band, whose performances were both pushed back because of heavy storms.
