Mt. Sinai Man Recognized for Work With Building Hope for Long Island Foundation
Mt. Sinai man donates time to help refurbish homes of homeowners in need.
Mike Burridge, of Mt. Sinai, was recently recognized by Legis. Sarah Anker for his work with the Building Hope for Long Island Foundation.
Created in 2009, the organization works with communities to bring aid to those whose homes present a danger to themselves and their families. Community members and business owners donate their time, money and services to help refurbish the homes of homeowners in need.
“Now, more than ever, this is one of the most meaningful causes we have on Long Island,” Anker said. “I encourage our business owners, contractors, residents and friends to continue to support this heartwarming endeavor. Thanks to the support and generosity of this incredible organization, many families have received a safe and efficient home where they can live and raise a family."
