Over $800 Raised for Miller Place Families in Need

Fundraiser held to help local families in need.

A fundraiser for local families at this weekend raised a total of $805 that will be given to Mrs. Gittler at the , who will distribute the money, as needed, to local families.

Renee Oliva with the Little Leaders Learning Center helped organize the fundraiser.

"We would like to thank all of those who stopped by to make a donation or buy a raffle ticket," she said. "We had very generous sponsors that donated gift cards or services."

Oliva thanked Stop and Shop, local talent Randy Berliant for singing and entertaining during the fundraiser and many local businesses for donating gift cards and other products.

and each donated a $25 gift card, offered a free lesson, donated a basket of hair care products and many other businesses contributed.

"We are also very proud of our own children Camryn, Nicholas and Joseph who worked very hard today to help sell the tickets," Oliva said. "This was a great experience for them to spend the day to help others in the community."
