Alexandra Francis, Ashley Cordiale, Kirsten Nicholas and Nicole Kurtinaitis of
Troop 3084 were recently honored by the County and Town for achieving the Gold Award.
The girls received their Gold Awards on June 9th at the Miller Place Fire Department.
“Alexandra, Ashley, Kirsten and Nicole are outstanding leaders within the community,” said Legis. Sarah Anker. “I congratulate them on achieving the Gold Award and thank them for creating wonderful projects that benefit our neighborhood.”
Alexandra and Kirsten’s project was constructing a picnic area at Heritage Park in Mt. Sinai. Ashley and Nicole helped decorate, installed bookshelves and made the visitation rooms more inviting and child-friendly at the Department of Social Services building.
