Mt. Sinai students raise funds to donate gifts to less fortunate this holiday season.

Students Against Destructive Decisions (SAAD) club at Mt. Sinai High School recently raised $6,500 for the Holiday Magic of Long Island organization.

Another $1,500 from Cablevision’s Power To Learn Charity Champions program will be donated to Holiday Magic, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1990 that raises funds and donates gifts to those less fortunate, including homeless children and domestic violence victims.

Legis. Sarah Anker joined Cablevision officials at the high school to thank the students for their hard work and generosity.
